The BPLS Regional Core Technical working Group from the DILG, DTI and NCC was in Ipil Zamboanga Sibugay for a consultative meeting with the provincial BPLS team of the province. This was held on March m1, 2012 at the Ricomar Hotel and Restaurant. The meeting was attended by all invited officers of the DILG and DTI. For the DILG provincial office, Ms. Concepcion Capitania, the OIC PD was there, along with the MLGOOs of Tungawan, RT Lim, Ipil,Kabasalan comprising cluster 2 and Imelda for cluster 1. The cluster leaders of these areas were likewise present. From the DTI, Mr. Edito Lumacang the Provincial Director came with 3 other provincial staff. The provincial directors from DILG and DTI were given time for their Opening Messages.

LGPMS is a self-assessment, management and development tool that enables local governments to determine their capabilities & limitations in the delivery of essential public services. It provides benchmark data that can be utilized for program prioritization, policy formulation and policy direction for development purposes of LGUs.
